Udette Nichole Shroom is Toadette and Melody Shroom's mother. She is a senior at Mushroom Kingdom College and she was born on November 17, 1972. All of the little children adore her, as she often walks around town giving away free cookies (as seen in Episode 27: The X Tornado Crashes of the MFX Anime). Udette works part-time as a cashier at the Mushroom Market (as seen in Episode 75: Udette Gets A Job of the anime) and she is an expert mechanic (uncommon for women at the time).
Udette has appeared in 22 episodes of the Mario Fantasy X Anime. A rumor is that Udette will appear in next season's Episode 117: Toadette's Rage Fight, but it is proven untrue since Udette's final appearance was Episode 93: Melody Gets A Date. Udette is still going to appear in the prelude of the show, however, in her regular spot.
